CHAPTER: 4 šŸ”„ šŸŒ¶ļø

Enjoy šŸ’‹ 😘 šŸ˜€

---------------------------------------

After her hectic schedule today, Mishika was completely absorbed in preparing for her upcoming cases. But suddenly, something struck her mind.

ā€œOhhhhh shit! How did I forget?ā€

She scolded herself, muttering under her breath.

*Mishika, why do you always land yourself into trouble? Badi Maa clearly told you to be home by 8:00… and now it’s 9:30. You’re done for! No mercy tonight. God, please help me…*

Realizing it was better to face the storm than sit there drowning in guilt, she quickly gathered her things and rushed home.

The moment she arrived, her eyes widened.

All the gents of her family were emerging from their respective cars at the same time.

Mishika smirked. *Well, looks like I won’t be suffering alone tonight. Perfect—at least the punishment will be shared.*

She dashed toward her Papa, Bade Papa, and Chote Papa, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

ā€œWhat’s the matter, seniors? You’re late too?ā€

She was intentionally teasing them, while their faces stretched with tension, worry, and that sinking realization: how on earth were they going to face their wives after this mess?

Adarsh sighed, rubbing his temples.

ā€œBacha, now you can laugh at us too. First, we came home late despite Bhabhi Maa’s clear warning, and on top of that… we forgot to confirm the fasting time with the pandit ji. How are we going to explain this?ā€

Before Mishika could reply, Rudraksh stepped forward dramatically.

ā€œBeta, tonight your father’s very soul will be ripped from his body by your mother. The house will tremble… there will be a raging tandav like never before!ā€

Mishika burst out laughing.

ā€œPapa, please, go ahead! I want to see this tandav tonight. In fact, let’s make it official—TANDAV TONIGHT! Limited seats, free drama, Tsunami arriving at 10:00 PM in Agniwashi Mansion. You’re all invited.ā€

She clapped her hands, grinning mischievously.

ā€œDisclaimer: popcorn not included.ā€

Her eyes twinkled with mischief as she asked innocently,

ā€œSo… how was it?ā€

From behind, Ansh and Shreyansh flashed her a thumbs-up, clearly enjoying the chaos. But before Mishika could add another punchline, Rohit cut through the air in a strict tone:

ā€œNo come , inside. Enough drama for today.ā€

Just like that, the sarcasm died. Everyone fell silent and followed him obediently.

As they entered the hall, it felt oddly empty—none of the women were in sight. Mishika asked one of the servants quietly,

ā€œWhere are Maa, Badi Maa, and Choti Maa?ā€

The servant bowed slightly and replied,

ā€œMadam, they are in the Mandir.ā€

She nodded, and the entire group walked toward the temple room, joining the ongoing pooja.

After the rituals concluded, Mishika finally gathered courage and explained everything to Ishani Maa and Apeksha Maa—why she had returned home late, and how work had consumed her.

To her surprise, they simply smiled, nodded, and with calm eyes said,

ā€œGo to your room, beta. Take rest.ā€

[INSIDE MISHIKA'S ROOM ]

The room was calm, clean, and ordered as always. Every little thing was so neatly arranged it looked untouched. Even the bedsheet didn’t have a single crease.

Mishika stepped inside, placed her bag on the side table, and slipped into the bathroom. After such a stressful day, the only thing that could truly relax her was a long, soothing bath.

When she finally emerged, steam trailing behind her, she wore a" black sheer chemise babydoll nightie".

The delicate net fabric clung to her, outlining every curve, enhancing her figure. She looked stunning—too good, too hot, almost sinfully irresistible. It was her version of ā€œcomfortableā€ for the night.

As she towel-dried her damp hair, two strong arms suddenly wrapped around her from behind.

His warm breath touched her wet neck, sending a sharp shiver down her spine.

She didn’t turn—she didn’t need to. She knew who it was. So instead, she stayed still, calm on the outside but trembling inside.

Then came his voice, laced with seduction and intensity:

ā€œMishi… you look breathtaking tonight.ā€

A shy smile tugged at her lips. He leaned closer, inhaling deeply.

ā€œYou smell like a beautiful hell I can’t even imagine leaving.ā€

Her chest tightened; emotions swirled violently inside her. She turned, concern flashing in her eyes.

ā€œYou came again? I told you not to sneak in from the balcony. What if someone sees you? What if you get hurt?ā€

Before she could finish, in one swift motion, he pinned her gently against the wall. His voice dropped, sharp and dark.

ā€œSo my Mishi is bothered by what people say?ā€

Her heart pounded, not from his words but from the sudden shift in his tone.

Oh God, what’s happening to me? Why do I lose all control when he’s near? He’s too handsome… and too damn cute at the same time. How is that even possible?

His voice cut into her thoughts, making her freeze.

ā€œWhat are you thinking, jaan? That how someone can be this handsome and adorable at once?ā€

Her eyes widened. She nodded before quickly shaking her head.

*Oh shit! Is he a magician? How the hell did he know what I was thinking? Can he actually hear my thoughts? No… no, no! That’s impossible!*

He chuckled darkly.

ā€œStop overthinking, Mishu. You’re too predictable. I know exactly what’s running through your head—that you’re wondering how I read your mind.ā€

He leaned in closer, his breath grazing her cheek.

ā€œBaby… I’m Vinayak Singh Rathore. I know what, when, how, and why people think. And with you? Please—I’ve been with you for twelve years I know every thought, every expression.ā€

She stared at him blankly, utterly speechless. Finally, she whispered,

ā€œOkay… but what are you doing here tonight?ā€

He smirked, closing the distance between them, lips brushing against her ear.

ā€œBecause… I was missing my beautiful, gorgeous, sinful would-be wife.ā€

The word wife made her cheeks flame red.

ā€œTh… that’s not fair! You even came to the office today!

He pulled back with a mock-dramatic expression.

ā€œExactly. I came there because I was missing you so damn badly."

Then his eyes trailed over her, slow and hungry.

ā€œAnyway… where were we? Ah, yes. Jaan, this black nightie… it’s dangerous. You’re looking too alluring to resist. Careful, sweetie......What if something wild happens tonight? Don’t blame me later.ā€

Her face burned, her cheeks now cherry red.

ā€œStop it, Vinayak! Leave meā€¦ā€

He placed a hand over his heart, grinning.

ā€œOh darling, when you blush and tell me to stop… you become even more irresistible.ā€

She huffed, half-shy, half-irritated.

ā€œShut up! You’re impossible.ā€

*******************

His voice and expression suddenly shifted into something serious. Turning his back to her, he spoke quietly,

ā€œMishu… I talked about you to my family.ā€

She looked at him, tension rising in her chest, curiosity mixing with dread.

ā€œAnd… what did they say?ā€ she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

His face fell, head bowed low.

ā€œThey denied our marriage,ā€ he murmured, broken. ā€œAnd told me never to meet you again.ā€

The words struck like a dagger. Mishika collapsed to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably.

ā€œI’m a sin… I’m useless… I’m a disgrace… Iā€”ā€

Before she could finish, Vinayak spun around and rushed to her. He cupped her tear-streaked cheeks, desperation in his eyes.

ā€œShhhh.....!Stop, bacha! Don’t cry, please. I was just joking—just a joke!ā€.

Anger burned through her grief. She shoved him back, eyes blazing.

*How he can say that this relationship is a joke. That these 12 years are of no use.*

ā€œHow the hell could you say that? Is this all a joke to you?ā€

He reached for her again, voice trembling as he tried to calm her storm. He knew her temper—when unleashed, it destroyed everything around.

ā€œNo, jaan! They agreed—our marriage is approved. Please, relax.ā€

But she stormed up to him, grabbing his collar with trembling hands.

ā€œHow dare you? Do you know what I felt for those few seconds? Like someone caged me, shattered me, broke my most beautiful dream. It was my worst nightmare, Vinayak Singh Rahtore. My entire world stopped. You stupid… GET OUT!ā€

Regret washed over him instantly. He dropped to his knees beside her, begging, his voice raw.

ā€œJaan… Mishu… babu… please listen. I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just wanted to see how you’d react if something like this ever happened. I’m a fool—stupid, dumb… please forgive me.ā€

But she only sat on the edge of her bed, staring away in silence. No anger, no screaming—just silence. And that silence cut him deeper than any words.

He stood, shoulders heavy, and walked towards the balcony. His eyes brimmed with guilt.

ā€œI hurt you, Mishu. I don’t deserve your forgiveness. I’m too stupid, too careless… how can I ever face you again?ā€

Her heart clenched at his broken voice. Without thinking, she shot up, grabbed his hand, and before he could react—pressed her lips against his.

Not soft. Not tender. But fiery. Consuming.

Her kiss stole his breath. His eyes widened in shock—this wasn’t her. Mishika never took the first step, never dominated. But tonight, she kissed him fiercely, biting his lips, sucking, claiming.

ā€œOpen your mouth,ā€ she commanded in between, voice low and dangerous.

His body froze, but he obeyed. Their tongues tangled, breaths hitched, saliva mingled as the kiss deepened into something raw and untamed. The room grew hotter, air thick with desire.

Minutes blurred—until she tasted something metallic. *Blood*

Breaking the kiss, she gasped, noticing a thin line of crimson at the corner of his lips.

ā€œOh my God—sorry! I’m so sorry, Vinayak. Wait, I’ll get ointmentā€”ā€

But before she could move, his hand tightened around her wrist, pulling her back against him. His eyes blazed with a fire she had never seen before.

ā€œMishu… you’ve ignited a flame. And I’ll only be quenched when you satisfy it.ā€

In one swift motion, he pinned her to the bed, hovering above her. Their eyes locked—long, burning, unyielding—before his lips crashed onto hers again.

She kissed him back with equal fervor, one of his hands trailing to her bare waist, the other sliding slowly along her thigh. Her heartbeat thundered, like she was running a marathon.

But just as his touch grew bolder, she broke the kiss, breathless.

ā€œV-Vinayak… I… I need to talk to my family about us first. Everything else… after marriage.ā€

For a moment, he just stared, reading the flicker of determination in her eyes. Then, with a heavy sigh, he pulled away and walked towards the balcony.

Turning back, his expression softened.

ā€œI’m sorry again—for my stupidity. "

He paused for a moment

"And tried not to hate her this much. That you regret laterā€

A faint smile touched her lips. As well as anger start surging . But she controlled herself and replied-

ā€œNo need. If you’re always with me, I need nothing else. But please, never joke like that again.ā€

And just like that, amidst fire and fury, a beautiful moment was carved into their story.
